I don't know what is funnier about this story, the fact that a bunch of bees swarmed on the day the mayor announced that "The Secret Life of Bees" would be the first book the town would read for it's citywide reading project, or the fact that the town has a citywide reading project. I guess the mayor wants to be Oprah and figures getting their own book club is a start.
