and I've been watching every episode of the best damn show on TV ever since the terrible news yesterday that it's over. I do have to give show creator Mitch Hurwitz for throwing in the towel before he started making mediocre episodes. Why not make the best 3 seasons possible and have people remember that. Seems like nobody ever does that in Hollywood. (When is Scary Movie 8 coming out?) Still, it's a bummer that we'll never get to see the Bluths again. That is unless they have record sales of season 3 and it builds a huge audience ala "Family Guy" coming back to life. I can only hope.

As you probably know we are huge fans of the show "Arrested Development" Mondays 8/7central on FOX. And you probably also know that FOX yanked the show from November sweeps and has reduced the season order which could mean the end of the critically aclaimed show. Show creator Mitch Hurwitz is at least taking the news and making some good comedy about it, details of an upcoming episode reveal the Save Our Bluths campaign poking fun at what's going on with the show within the show. Finally the big TV networks have gotten smart. Hit ABC show are available to buy in the iTunes store and can be watched on the new iPod. NBC & CBS now allow you to buy their shows on cable and satellite provider inDemand systems. NBC Nightly News among other shows are now availble online. All of this has me thinking...why isn't "that one show" online. I think people would take the time to download the show and watch it when or where they wanted. Do you?

The festival is meant to do for television what Sundance does for film. Independtly filmed television shows get screened in front of industry executives to potentially get picked up by a network. The pilot episode is one of the 26 pilots selected to be screened out of the more than 250 entries. For more information about the screening go here. I'm a big fan of The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, it's simply hilarious. Last week they moved the show to a new studio and got a totally new set. Stewart said before they left the week's vacation to make the move "we'll get a new set and you'll all hate it". Turns out, he was right, a lot of people do hate it. Some don't like it at all. Others really have a massive affinity for the now long gone couch. All in all, it's still one of the best shows on TV and for that we can all keep watching, or listening if we really hate looking at the set that much.

Apparently Motley Crue thinks it's illegal to not put them on TV. The band has been banned (haaa, that sounds funny) from NBC after they used the F*** expletive on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" which woke up a few people who then complained to the FCC. Because of the constantly heightened broadcast regulations NBC could face millions of dollars in fines. What "the Crue" doesn't understand is that a network has the right to not put people on TV, if they wanted to the wouldn't even have to put the President on. Actually, if Motley Crue wins this, I think I'll sue NBC for not giving me my own TV show.

That will parody the personality "news" screemfest shows like O'Reilly and Crossfire. It'll be produced by Jon Stewart. Seems he's been MIA for weeks from the set of the very popular "Chappelle's Show". Niether Comedy Central nor Dave's publicist, Matt Labov, are giving up any details as to why the show has been postponed indefinitely. Rumors have been flying everything from too much pressure and partying, creative differences with the network, and Dave's new found strict following of Islam. I can definitely understand the too much pressure one. It's tough to live up to all of the hype the show is getting. that one show: Paris Hilton Gets Best Punk'ing Ever

So I was reading that "The Simple Life" duo is no longer. Paris is aparently upset because her pal Nicole Richie gave her the best Punk'ing ever (I'm not sure if Ashton Kutcher was there though). A bunch of their friends got together at Paris' sister's house to watch Paris on Saturday Night Live. The rumors say that Nicole actually put in Paris' infamous sex tape. So when the starting up the tape, they expected to see Paris trying to make people laugh, instead they got to laugh at Paris. I think the funniest thing about this story is the fact that hotel heiress Nicky Hilton who has everything under the sun, actually has a VCR!

I've been having some fun looking at the world on the new Google Maps satellite view. It's kinda cool to see places I live and have lived, and seeing some other stuff I don't usually see from space. Someone has taken it a step further. They started a blog called Google Sightseeing. There's some funny stuff people have found on the satellite view.

You might have seen the latest episode of Punk'd in which Zach Braff from scrubs got a pretty good prank played on him. I found another really good prank on the web that someone did to trick lots of art gallery goers. Some funny stuff, not sure if it'll be on the next episode though.
